Only three couples remained to compete for the Dancing With The Stars Season 6 Championship. Following last night’s performance show, here is how the couples stood on the Judges’ Leader Board:
Judges Leader Board:
Kristi & Mark: 60
Cristian & Cheryl: 52
Jason & Edyta: 51
Cristian & Cheryl were sent home at the beginning of the show. They performed there Paso Doble. This was their favorite performance of the season. I was disappointed to see them go. Cristian & Cheryl were the couple I was really rooting for.
After Cristian & Cheryl left the show, Tom & Samantha walked through the entire season week by week. They spoke with each couple that had been eliminated and watched them perform. This combined with the other filler turned what could have been a one hour show into a slow painful two hour marathon. I love DWTS, but man do they know how to milk it or what? At the end of the show the time had finally come for each of the final two couples to perform their final routine of the season.
Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas
Dance: Jive
Kristi & Mark performed their jive again. Len told Kristi that she was the most consistent competitor ever on DWTS. Bruno said that she didn’t miss a beat. Carrie Ann told Kristi that she did so well and thanked her for representing the ladies.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 10

Bruno Tonioli: 10

Combined Score: 90
Jason Taylor & Edyta Sliwinska
Dance: Quickstep
This was definitely the best routine they performed all season. They did an even better job with it tonight than they did the first time. Bruno told them it was their best performance. Carrie Ann called it a show down. Len said that while Kristi may have been the judges’ champion Jason was the people’s champion.

Good for Kristi & Mark. They were the highest scoring couple in DWTS history. These two totally deserved to win this season. Congratulations to Kristi & Mark!

Leave the race comments out of this. Kristi was clearly the better dancer all season long. She deserved the DWTS trophy. Christian and Jason did a great job, but, they weren’t in the same category as Kristi. EVERYONE did a FANTASTIC JOB!!

WOOHOO! Yay Kristi! Everyone was awesome! Cheryl has kinda won too many times, just like Juliane Hough!

where can i get a video of the last half hour?! the vcr was only set to tape until 10:30!
