This movie looks like a lot of fun. City of Ember, based on the 2003 novel The City of Ember by Jeanne Dupra, follows two children who must discover the secret of their underground city to save their fellow inhabitants who seem to have reached the end of their 200 year stay.
You’ve got Bill Murray as the mayor, so it appears, and Tim Robbins who seems to be playing his old War of the Worlds role (does he do anything well anymore?). So at least you know there are some acting chops behind this one. The story sounds creative and I like the idea of the underground city, though its plot lines may become more predictable than I’d prefer. All the same, City of Ember is on my list of movies to await.
