So You Think You Can Dance Season 4

Last night on So You Think You Can Dance the third pair of dancers were sent home. The three couples tonight who had to dance for their lives were Comfort & Chris, Chelsea T. & Thayne, Kourtni L. & Matt. Chelsea T. & Thayne were not surprise. They danced the Quickstep Wednesday night and none of the judges thought they looked comfortable doing it. Comfort & Chris did the African hunter routine to the Marilyn Manson music which was another routine none of the judges really liked. The general consensus was that they didn’t really bring the passion required to pull that routine off. Kourtni L. & Matt was a little bit of a surprise in that the judges all loved their performance. I think what caused them to be in the bottom three was the choreography. Even though their performance was great the routine itself was not one that readily appealed to the general public.

When the judges returned, following Jordan Sparks’ performance, Nigel pointed out to all six dancers had been in the bottom three before. He told them that the audience was telling them something. Even if they didn’t get sent home tonight, if they didn’t pick it up they would be going home soon. Without any further ado, Nigel sent Chelsea T. packing. Chris was the other dancer to get the bad news from Nigel. This week we say good bye to Chelsea T. and Chris. Next week we’ll get to see if new partners Comfort & Thayne can dance themselves out of the bottom three.
