Comfort & Thayne were the first couple to be put in the bottom 3. This was no surprise as both of their performances were only OK. Comfort didn’t even do well during their Hip Hop routine which is supposed to be her style. The second couple to have to dance solos was Will & Jessica. This was primarily an indictment of Jessica. Their first number was absolutely brilliant. It was Mia Michael’s comment about Will looking tired of carrying Jessica which doomed them to the bottom 3. The final couple in the bottom 3 was Kherington & Twitch. Twitchington had a tough time with the Tango Wednesday night.
When the judges returned, Nigel immediately sent Kherington off stage. Then it was down to Comfort and Jessica. Nigel explained that while they were disappointed in Jessica’s solo and some of her performances over the past few weeks because she has managed to turn in one brlliant performance every week, they would be keeping her this week. Then it was the guys turn. Once again, Nigel sent Twitch back to safety first thing. Again without any fuss Nigel sent Will back stage with nothing worse than a compliment. This of course means the couple of Comfort & Thayne were the two dancers to miss the final 10. Nigel did tell Thayne that he should expect to be working with Mia Michaels soon and that if they could have they would have kept him and sent home two girls instead. Jessica better watchout, next week she will be at the top of Nigel’s list.
