Tonight was the big So You Think You Can Dance Season 4 Finale. The vast majority of the 2 hour show was just fluff. The actual meat of the show which was announcing the winning dancer could have been done in about 10 minutes. At the very least FOX could have cut it to an hour then I wouldn’t have had to choose between watching SYTYCD or Big Brother live.
There were a lot of performances by guest stars which I could have done without. They had 6 judges tonight, which really didn’t matter since the results were solely based on the fans votes. However, I liked that each of the judges got to pick their favorite performance of the season and the dancers then performed them. I thought that was a neat idea and it was fun to see those performances again.
The other thing I really enjoyed was the Pop-off between Robert Muraine and Phillip Chbeeb. That was pretty cool to see both of them on the same stage. Watching those two do their thing is just amazing.
Courtney was the first dancer to be let go. I liked her better than Katee but since the judges liked Katee so much I figured she would go before Katee did. I was surprised to see Katee was eliminated next. Katee was as surprised as I was. I think she thought she was going to win. Katee was never one of my favorites so I was not sorry to see her come in third. As we all know, Chelsea Hightower should have won the whole thing anyway
!
Then it was just Twitch and Joshua remaining. I agreed with America in that these two guys were both better than the remaining girls. I would have been happy to see either Twitch or Joshua win. I enjoyed watching Twitch more but, I think Joshua was the better dancer. As it turns out so did you. Joshua won Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance.
Congratulations to Joshua!

I knew right from the beginning that Joshua was the best and strongest dancer of the top 20. He truly gave his heart and soul into each and every routine. I am so happy that it did come down to the two dancers that had little to none experienced training, it goes to show you that “dreams do come true”!!!!!!! I wish nothing but the best for Joshua as well as for the rest of the dancers. I’m sure some of them with their talent will not make the show their last stop…
