Get ready for a big string of Disney movies starring Johnny Depp. On Wednesday, Disney revealed what must be a very lucrative deal with Depp to appear in three upcoming films. The biggest of all will be his return to Pirates of the Caribbean in its fourth installment.

Once he’s done with Capt Jack Sparrow, Depp will be tackling the roles of Tonto in “The Lone Range” and eventually the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” remake. I’m most excited for his Mad Hatter character as that role will undoubtedly give him great liberty to shine. Knowing the powerful result of combining Burton with Depp I believe this will be his standout role when these movies appear in theaters.
