Dancing With The Stars Season 6

This week on Dancing With The Stars our head judge was missing in action. Michael Flatley (a.k.a., The Lord of the Dance) filled in for Len. This week the couples performed their first group performance. It was terrible. Cloris wasn’t even doing it. They just had her up on the stage behind everyone else. Susan Lucci had no idea what she was doing. She missed about half of the steps. They called it old fashioned hip hop and it was old fashioned. It looked like what a 60 year old white guy would think a hip hop routine looked like. Apparently Len was in on creating the costumes.

Maurice Greene & Cheryl Burke
Dance: Viennese Waltz
Their Waltz was OK. It was elegant, not particularly exciting, but Ok. Michael thought it was little stiff in places but over all pretty good. Carrie Ann thought there was no chemistry between them. Bruno agreed with Carrie Ann. He thought it lacked fluidity.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 7
Michael Flatley: 7
Bruno Tonioli: 7
Total: 21

Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer
Dance: Jive
Nicely done. Lance & Lacey’s Jive was fun, energetic and entertaining. I have high hopes for them this week since Len is absent. Bruno said that Lance is back! Michael Flatley said they came out smokin’. Carrie Ann told Lance that he listened last week. Overall the judges loved their performance.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 9
Michael Flatley: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 9
Total: 27

Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani
Dance: Mambo
Susan does a great job of getting into character for these performances. Unfortunately, her dancing alway seems a little stilted to me. You can almost see her counting the beats. Carrie Ann told Susan that she a did a great job. Bruno told her the timing was completely off during this performance. Michael called Susan that she was the epitome of grace even if her timing was off a little bit.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 8
Michael Flatley: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 7
Total: 23

Brooke Burke & Derek Hough
Dance: Rumba
Absolutely amazing. Brooke is on track to win in my opinion. She is definitely one of the strongest competitors. Their Rumba tonight was absolutely incredible. Michael called it brilliant. Carrie Ann hated it she said it was not her best dance. Carrie Ann thought Brooke’s injury held her back this week. Bruno also called it under par. Needless to say I disagree with Carrie Ann and Bruno.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 8
Michael Flatley: 10 (Right On!)
Bruno Tonioli: 8
Total: 26

Cloris Leachman & Corky Ballas
Dance: Cha Cha Cha
Cloris and Corky’s performance was awful. Even worse than usual. Corky spent alot of time dancing around Cloris. Cloris’ dancing was taking three steps in one direction then three steps in the other. Woo! The lift was just scary. Bruno told Cloris that she was the only person in the world who could sell such nonsense. Michael called her a legend and an inspiration. Wow. Carrie Ann actually told it like it was. Carrie Ann said that she couldn’t believe that they lost Toni Braxton and kept this! I can’t agree more. Goodbye Cloris.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 5
Michael Flatley: 5
Bruno Tonioli: 5
Total: 15 (Now that’s about right)

Cody Linley & Julianne Hough
Dance: Samba
That was a totally hot performance. Cody still looked out classed by Julianne but overall it was a great performance. She was smokin’ hot. Carrie Ann said it was the most intense Samba she had ever seen. She loved it. Bruno thought he Cody got it completely wrong. Bruno said it was good but it was not a Samba. Michael told Cody he had everything it takes but he did not think tonight was his best night.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 8
Michael Flatley: 8
Bruno Tonioli: 7
Total: 23

Warren Sapp & Kim Johnson
Dance: Rumba
Warren & Kim’s Rumba was OK. It was not my favorite performance by Warren. Michael called it entertaining but not his best night. Carrie Ann called it pretty sexy. Bruno said he did a great job getting into character but not great technically.
Carrie Ann Inaba: 8
Michael Flatley: 9
Bruno Tonioli: 8
Total: 25

Brooke & Derek: 26
Warren & Kim: 25

IF CLORIS IS NOT GONE TONIGHT,I’M NOT WATCHING ANY MORE!

  2. Michelle

Agree w/ Patty. I am (and have been) embarrassed for Cloris and btw, shame on DWTS for encouraging her. This is not entertaining. TY Carrie Ann for speaking my mind!

  3. Dennis

Agreed …. Cloris has been fun to watch, but now it’s time for her to go. To see Toni Bracton go was a shame ! Cloris should go tonite.

  4. Lee

Cloris Leachman is a disgrace to senior citizens everywhere - no dignity, no grace. She gives us all a bad name and DWTS should NEVER bring someone like this on again. It makes the program appear to be a total sham and I really hope it’s not!

  5. PATTY

WELL I GUESS WE CAN CONTINUE WATCHING,NOW NEXT WEEK IT’S SUSAN’S TURN TO GO.
