Despite their on-again-off-again romance, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have run off and gotten themselves married in Mexico. I think the legal restrictions on the mentally handicapped getting married are a little more relaxed down there. I’m still surprised they didn’t whore out their wedding Star Jones style considering that’s what they’ve done with the rest of their lives.

They don’t normally shy from the press, but Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt quietly eloped in Mexico last Thursday, Nov. 20.

“The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying,” Montag told Perez Hilton of the ceremony at the One & Only Palmilla Resort, just outside Cabo San Lucas.

No kidding she couldn’t stop crying when she looked up and realized she had married flesh-colored beard wearing Spencer Pratt. I’d say that’s more than worth a few boxes of tissues of crying. Best of luck, I guess.
