What happened to Guy Ritchie’s boasting that he didn’t want a single dime of Madonna’s money after 8 years of marriage? If he ever meant it he definitely forgot about that claim when the dollar signs light up during the divorce process:

Liz Rosenberg tells The Associated Press that Madonna, 50, has given Ritchie, 40, between $76 million to $92 million as part of their divorce agreement. (The figure includes the value of the couple’s country home Ashcombe in western England, she said.)

Although the singer keeps the bulk of her estimated $500 million fortune, “I’d assume it’s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement,” Rosenberg noted.

No doubt the English are thrilled to be losing their adopted Madge with the news that she’s giving up their Ashcombe home. Yet even with the nearly $90 million payout, I don’t think I could have last a week married to that nutcase.
